The Atomic Backland 89 SL is lightweight and efficient on the way up, and reliable and stable with great flotation on the down. The result of a scientific life cycle assessment, the use of more poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, and waste-reducing sidewalls significantly reduces material-based CO2 equivalent emissions by 30% (compared with the Backland 85, 2021). HRZN 3D increases surface area for better float in powder and improved handling in variable conditions.

All-Terrain Profile uses a natural-wood-to-fiberglass ratio to create a ski shape that enhances climbing and optimizes downhill performance. A Carbon Backbone adds stiffness while the poplar/caruba woodcore keeps the ski lightweight and nimble.
