Product Description

The Big Agnes Blacktail 3 is a 3-person lightweight tent from the Blacktail series. The Blacktail 3 is a solid value-for-money tent as you would like to see more often, which can also be used as a spacious 2-person tent. The material of the outer tent is a standard polyester with a PU coating, solid and reliable. Of course, lighter materials exist, but this choice delivers great value for money.

The design of the Blacktail 3 is well thought-out. The outer tent is not cut too high so that the outer tent reaches close to the ground. Combined with a solid height of the closed part of the inner tent, this makes the Blacktail 3 a great tent for 3 seasons. The higher placed mesh in the inner tent does provide super ventilation in warm conditions, especially in combination with the 2 high placed ventilation vents in the outer tent. Condensation will be almost non-existent. With a 178cm wide sleeping tent and 76cm of awning space on either side, the Blacktail 3 offers a reasonably spacious tent for three and plenty of room for two. The length of the inner tent is nice and long at 229cm, so tall adventurers have no limitations either. At 2.35kg trail weight, this standard-light dome is nicely designed.
