At 239 grams with a unique Pebax foam midsole, the SKY DNA helps athletic, ambitious mountain runners fully tap into their potential. For best grip on any surface and in all conditions, the developers turned to the proven Vibram® Litebase Megagrip outsole, which in trail running and competitive sports is considered the standard against which all things high performance are measured. The new Sky running shoe foregoes the classic footbed and instead integrates a minimal drop of 4 mm for direct ground contact and perfect feel. One highlight of the shoe is the new midsole of high-performance Pebax® foam. The material, which comes from the highly technical ski boot segment, brings together durability and flexibility. It also ensures maximum energy return so runners can fully utilize the power and speed in their legs. At the same time, its weight has been reduced by 30% compared to that of a normal EVA midsole. With the Double Speed quick lacing system, you can precisely individualize the shoe for a secure and exacting fit to your foot’s shape. The intelligent lacing system distributes pressure optimally across the entire foot so no pressure points are created during a run.
